Splash Tub Cover
The splash tub cover is held in place with 12 retaining tabs (1
small indicator tab and 11 larger tabs) around the top of the
splash tub.
To remove the splash tub cover:
1. Disconnect the washer from electrical source and remove
the front panel and top panel.
2. Pry up each of the 12 retaining tabs around the top of
the splash tub. You may need a small prying tool.
NOTE
With splash tub cover removed, you will be able to inspect
the splash tub cover seal.
NOTE
When reinstalling the splash tub cover, begin with the small
retaining tab to help align the others.
Wash Plate Cap (Removal)
The wash plate cap is held in place with an internal locking
tab.
To remove the wash plate cap:
1. Disconnect the washer from electrical source and lift the
washer lid.
2. Insert a small fl at blade screwdriver through the slot in
the wash plate cap and gently pry to release the locking
tab as you rotate the wash plate cap counterclockwise.
