E Voice Memo: Recording and Playback

Use the camera's built-in microphone to record voice memos for pictures.

Recording Voice Memos

Select a picture in the full-frame
playback mode (A 78), and tap the
bottom tab.

Tap E.
The screen for recording voice memos is
displayed.

Tap W to record a voice memo.
Recording ends after 20 seconds.
Do not touch the built-in microphone during
recording.
To exit without recording voice memos, tap
J.
During recording, o blinks in the monitor.
When S is tapped during recording,
recording ends.
When recording ends, the voice memo
playback screen is displayed. Follow the
instructions in step 3 of "Playing Voice
Memos" (A 108) to play the voice memo.
