Connecting the phone cord and power cable to the
base station
4 Connecting the base station to the fixed-line telephone
network and power supply

Insert the phone cord connector
into the telephone jack in
the wall.

Then insert the power adapter
into the power outlet.
Keep the power adapter plugged in
at all times for operation, as the
phone does not work without being
connected to power.
You can now use your phone to make calls via the fixed-line telephone (PSTN) network:
Enter the number using the handset, and then briefly press the Talk key c.
The local answering machine is also activated.

Insert the phone cord connector into

base station.

Insert the power cable of the power
adapter into the power port connec-
tor at the rear of the base station.

respective cable recesses.
Only use the supplied phone cord and
the supplied power adapter.
