Since component video signal does not
output, MONITOR is not selectable or
indicates Inactive while inputting such
signal from EXT1 or EXT2.

This feature allows you to select the type of VCR to be connected to
Scart 3 on the back of the TV. The S-Video enables the TV to receive
from VCRs with S-Video or DVD players, the AV enables the TV to
receive from standard VCRs.
To select input signal for Scart 3:

This feature enables you to select the source to output from Scart 3.
e.g. If you connect a stereo satellite receiver to Scart 4 or 5 and a
stereo VCR to Scart 3, and select EXT4 or 5 as the EXT3 output (i.e.
output the signal received through Scart 4 or 5 directly out to Scart 3),
you will be able to record the stereo satellite transmission in stereo.
To select output signal for Scart 3:
Press the MENU button, then
press the

repeatedly to display the SET
UP menu.
Press the

repeatedly to highlight AV
connection.
Press the OK button to display
the AV connection menu, then
press the

highlight EXT3 input.
Press the

select the required input (AV or
S-VIDEO).
Highlight EXT3 output in step
3 above.

select between MONITOR, TV,
EXT1, EXT2, EXT4, EXT5 or
EXT6.
MONITOR = Picture on screen
TV
= The last TV programme selection
EXT1
= Only selectable when inputting composite video
signal.
EXT2
= Only selectable when inputting composite video
signal.
EXT3
= Not selectable.
EXT4
= The picture from equipment connected to Scart 4.
EXT5
= The picture from equipment connected to Scart 5.
EXT6
= The picture from equipment connected to
RGB/PC
= Not selectable
