Security certificates

For using some services, you need a security certificate. A security certificate is used to enable secure
communications with a WAP gateway or a server. The certificates are used to check signatures of WAP
gateway or server certificates and can be downloaded during browsing.
You can only be sure of the correct identity of a WAP gateway or a server when the signature and the
period of validity of a WAP gateway or a server certificate have been checked.You will be notified on
the phone's display if the identity of the WAP server or gateway cannot be verified, the WAP server or
gateway is not authentic or if you do not have the right security certificate in your phone. After you
have downloaded the required security certificate from the Internet, you can view the certificate and
then save or delete it. If you save it, the certificate is added to the list of security certificates in the
Services
menu.
