Hardware Connection 2.1 Power and video cables Figure 2-1 shows the power and video cables. Figure 2-1 Power and video cables Connect the BNC connector of the power or video cable to a video signal cable and connect the other connector to a low-voltage power cable (12 V DC). After installing the camera, directly connect the video cable and power cable.

Device Installation Step 1 Open a package, take out the camera, unscrew the camera compression ring, and disassemble the camera. Step 2 Drill holes on the ceiling or wall, perform positioning of the position of the installation block with the camera mounting base as reference template, and reserve the cable entries of the video/power cables.

Function Menus 5.1 OSD Main Menu When you press the OSD menu control key, the OSD main menu SETUP MENU appears, as shown in Figure 5-1. The OSD main menu provides function options such as LANGUAGE, SCENE SELECT, PICT ADJUST, SYSTEM SETTING, PRIVACY MASK SETUP, MOTION DETECTION, EZOOM SETUP, and DIS.
Function Option Description MASK SETUP parameters related to privacy mask. You can set a maximum of 15 privacy areas. MOTION Used to enable or disable the triggering alarming function. DETECTION EZOOM SETUP Used to magnify, pan and tilt pictures. Used to enable or disable the digital image stabilization function.
Function Description Option ATW. HLC/BLC Used to enable or disable HLC or BLC. HLC works only in the dark environment, it can effectively inhibit the night open strong light source such as headlights. Used to enable SUPER-WDR, D-WDR, or disable WDR and set WDR-related parameters.
