Phone Settings (Menu 4)

This menu function allows you to personalize your phone.

PIN Code Request (Menu 4 1)

This menu function allows you to set the phone to ask for your PIN code
(provided by your service provider) every time the phone is switched on.
Note: Some SIM cards do not allow the PIN code request to be turned off.
Press
(Menu), scroll with
(Select), press
At the Enter PIN code: prompt, key in your PIN code and press
(OK).

Phone Security (Menu 4 2)

The phone is supplied with a five-digit security code which allows you to
protect the phone against unauthorised use.
Note: Whenever you change this setting, all numbers stored in the menu
Call Register (Menu 3) are erased.
Press
(Menu), scroll with
(Select), then scroll with
and press
Key in the security code and press
Scroll with
(OK) to select the option:
Off: Security code is not required when the phone is switched on.
On: Security code is required when the phone is switched on with
a SIM card that you haven't used with the phone before.
Note: The phone recognises only the last five SIM cards used.
(Change) to access PIN CODE REQUEST.
