Maximum Steel Sheet Cutting Capacity
The maximum steel sheet cutting capacity d
depends on the strength properties of the mate-
rial to be cut.
The machine allows for cutting of metal sheet to
the following thicknesses:

Lubricating/Cooling the Cutters
In order to extend the service life of the blade
and cutter bars, a lubricant with a good cooling
capacity (e.g. cutting oil) should be used.
Apply a trail of lubricant beads onto the top side
of the metal sheet alongside the intended cutting
line. For long periods of continual use or for work
with high frictional wear (e.g. when cutting alumi-
num), the cutting head should be immersed into a
container with lubricant in regular intervals.

Before any work on the power tool itself,
pull the mains plug.
For safe and proper working, always keep
the power tool and the ventilation slots
clean.
Note: The blade 1 and the cutter bars 2 must not
be reground.

If the front halves of the cutter bars 2 are dull, the

cutter bars can be exchanged against each an-
other.
If both halves of the cutter bars 2 are dull, the
cutter bars must be replaced.
Unscrew the screws 3 with a hex key (size

2.5 mm) and remove the cutter bars 2.

Mount new or a turned cutter bars 2 and fasten
them with the screws 3. Tighten the screws.
