When it is not going to be used for a long
time:
1 Perform FAN operation for 3 or 4 hours to dry the
inside of the air conditioner.
Before perform fan operation,please set the
unit work under the cool mode,and select the
highest temperature.
Turn off the breaker,then disconnect the power

plug.

WARNING
Disconnect the power plug or turn off the breaker when the
air conditoner is not going to be used for a long time.
Dirt may collect and may cause a fire.
Remove the batteries from the remote

controller.

WHEN THE AIR CONDITIONER IS NOT GOING TO BE USED FOR A LONG TIME

When the air conditioner is to be used again:
Clean the air filter and install it in the indoor unit.

(Refer to page 41 for cleaning it.)
Check that the air inlet and outlet of the indoor/

outdoor unit are not blocked.
Check that the ground wire is connected
3
correctly.

WARNING
Apply grounding.
Do not connect a grounding wire to a gas pipe,water

pipe,lightning rod or grounding wire of a telephone.
If a grounding is absent or incorrect,it may cause an
electric shock.
