NOTE: Before starting the unit, make sure:
● the On/Off switch is in "I" position;

TO START A COLD ENGINE:
FR EN DE ES IT PT
1. Press the primer bulb for 10 times.
FR EN DE ES IT PT
Note: After the 10th press, the fuel should be
FR EN DE ES IT PT
visible in the primer bulb. If not, continue pressing
until the fuel is visible.

2. Unlock the cruise control.
FR EN DE ES IT PT
3. Set the choke lever to "A" position.
4. Pull the starter grip until the engine attempts to
FR EN DE ES IT PT
start. Do not pull the starter grip for more than 5
times.

5. Set the choke lever to "B" position.
FR EN DE ES IT PT
6. Pull the starter handle until the engine starts. Do
not pull the starter grip for more than 6 times.

Note: If the engine does not start, return to "A"

choke position and repeat the process beginning
at step 3.

7. Allow the engine to run for 10 seconds, before

using the product.

TO START A WARM ENGINE:

1. Set the choke lever to "B" position.
2. Lock the cruise control. Pull the starter handle
until the engine starts.

TO STOP THE ENGINE:

Press and hold the On/Off switch in "O" position
until the engine stops.
OPERATING THE BLOWER (Fig. 5)
Slip arm through harness strap and onto
n
shoulder, then repeat for the other shoulder.
Adjust the straps to a comfortable position.
Refer to Adjusting Harness Straps earlier in this
manual. Remove unit for starting.
Start the blower. Refer to Starting and Stopping
n
earlier in this manual.

Operate power equipment at reasonable hours

only — not early in the morning or late at night

the times listed in local ordinances.

To reduce sound levels, limit the number of

Operate blower at the lowest possible throttle

speed to do the job.

Check your equipment before operation,

especially the muffler, air intakes, and air filters.

Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before

blowing. In dusty conditions, slightly dampen

surfaces when water is available.

Conserve water by using power blowers

instead of hoses for many lawn and garden

applications, including areas such as gutters,
screens, patios, grills, porches, and gardens.

Watch out for children, pets, open windows,

or freshly washed cars, and blow debris safely

Use the blower nozzle extension, so the air

stream can work close to the ground.

After using blowers or other equipment, CLEAN

Dispose of debris properly.

CAUTION:
Do not place blower on top of or near loose
debris. Debris may be sucked into blower
intake vent resulting in possible damage to
the unit.
