Cause/Solution
When V (auto with red-eye reduction) or "fill flash
with slow sync and red-eye reduction" of the Night
portrait scene mode is applied during shooting, In-
Camera Red-Eye Fix may, in very rare cases, be applied
to areas not affected by red-eye. Set a flash mode other
than V (auto with red-eye reduction) and select a
scene mode other than Night portrait, then shoot.
• Skin softening may not produce the desired results
depending on shooting conditions.
• For pictures with four or more faces, try using Skin
softening in the playback menu.
It may take more time to save images in the following
situations.
• When the noise reduction function is in operation
• When flash is set to V (auto with red-eye
reduction)
• When using skin softening while shooting
