    Available Flash Modes Auto The flash fires automatically when lighting is dim. Auto with red-eye reduction Reduce red-eye in portraits caused by the flash (A60). The flash will not fire. We recommend using a tripod to stabilize the camera when shooting in dark surroundings.

    Using the Self-timer The camera is equipped with a self-timer that releases the shutter ten seconds or two seconds after you press the shutter-release button. The self-timer is useful when you want to be in the picture you are taking, and when you want to avoid the effects of camera shake that occur when you press the shutter-release button.

    Using Macro Mode When using macro mode, the camera can focus on objects as close as approximately 10 cm (4 in.) from the front of the lens. This feature is useful when taking close-up pictures of flowers and other small subjects. Tap the macro mode icon.
