D HS Movie Options

Press d button M D (Movie menu) (A132) M HS movie options
Options can be selected for the movie that is shot when the movie mode switch is
rotated to HS.

* The maximum recording time refers only to the section shot for slow motion or speeded up playback.
Open with HS Footage Check Box
When Open with HS footage is selected and the k
button is pressed to select the check box [w], HS
movie recording starts immediately when the movie
recording starts. The default setting is off.

Slow motion movies with an aspect ratio of 4:3 are recorded
at 1/8 the speed of a normal movie.
• Maximum recording time*: 10 seconds (playback time:
80 seconds)
• Image size: 320×240 pixels
• Movie bitrate: 640 kbps
Slow motion movies with an aspect ratio of 4:3 are recorded
at 1/4 the speed of a normal movie.
• Maximum recording time*: 10 seconds (playback time:
40 seconds)
• Image size: 640×480 pixels
• Movie bitrate: 3 Mbps
Slow motion movies with an aspect ratio of 16:9 are recorded
at half the speed of a normal movie.
• Maximum recording time*: 30 seconds (playback time:
1 minute)
• Image size: 1280×720 pixels
• Movie bitrate: 9 Mbps
Fast motion movies with an aspect ratio of 16:9 are recorded
at twice the speed of a normal movie.
• Maximum recording time*: 2 minutes (playback time:
1 minute)
• Image size: 1920×1080 pixels
• Movie bitrate: 12 Mbps
