PREPARING FOR OPERATION
The PS7000 has an ergonomically designed handle and body design ensuring
evenly balanced weight to reduce hand and arm fatigue. The tool is equipped
with a 2‑position auxiliary handle for ease of operation. This provides for two‑
hand operation, which is necessary to maintain proper control and keep both
hands clear of the dual‑rotating discs and your work area.
When operating your polisher/sander, always use both hands. Check the auxiliary
handle before each use and make sure the handle is tight.
SANDING
Always secure the piece you will be sanding to prevent it from moving. Secure
small workpieces in a vise or use clamps to secure them to a workbench.
WARNING!
Unsecured work could be thrown towards the operator causing injury.
T o s a n d :
1. Hold the PS7000 in front and away from you, keeping it clear of the
workpiece.
2. Press the switch trigger to start the sander. Adjust the sanding speed to the
proper rate for the type of sanding being performed using the speed control
dial.
3. Gradually lower the sander the onto workpiece as flat as possible so both the
inner and outer counter rotating discs are touching the workpiece.
4. Move the tool evenly over the workpiece, allowing it to operate freely
without unnecessary pressure.
