    DO NOT TOUCH ANY MOVING PART WHEN THE TOOL IS RUNNING SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES • Always keep both hands on the PS7000 when using the tool. Always hold the tool by its insulated gripping surfaces. • While operating, always keep the cord away from the rotating polishing/ sanding disc.

    Before attempting to use this tool, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules. Your PS7000 comes with one 60 grit sanding disc set. The dual‑rotating pads provide control to ensure precision polishing or sanding. Adjust the variable speed control knob for low‑speed (1‑2) polishing or sanding.
  • Page 10 T r i g g e r S w i t c h The pressure switch in the handle turns the saw ON and OFF. To turn your PS7000 ON, depress switch trigger. Release switch trigger to turn the tool OFF.

Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury. • Do not attempt to modify the PS7000 or create accessories not recommended for use with it.
  • Page 12 ASSEMBLY ATTACHING AUXILIARY HANDLE An auxiliary handle is included with your PS7000. The handle provides ease of operation and helps to prevent loss of control. The motor housing is designed so that the auxiliary handle can be installed on either side of the tool.
  • Page 13 The sanding disc consists of two pieces: a 5” inner disc and a 7” outer disc. The reverse side of each sanding disc has a standard hook‑and‑loop system that holds the discs securely to the corresponding inner and outer pads on the PS7000. 1. Unplug the PS7000.
  • Page 14 INSTALLING THE WAX APPLICATOR OR POLISHING BONNET A foam wax applicator and a polishing bonnet are included with you PS7000. The thick, 2‑piece applicator allows to you to easily and smoothly apply wax to almost any surface. The soft lamb’s wool polishing bonnet provides smooth, controlled polishing and buffing.

    Unsecured work could be thrown towards the operator causing injury. T o s a n d : 1. Hold the PS7000 in front and away from you, keeping it clear of the workpiece. 2. Press the switch trigger to start the sander. Adjust the sanding speed to the proper rate for the type of sanding being performed using the speed control dial.

    MAINTENANCE POLISH BONNET • Keep the bonnet clean and free from grit, dirt, or other abrasive particles. WARNING! Check polishing bonnet before each use. Make sure it is clean and free from any loose particles or foreign objects that may be embedded in the bonnet.
