11. Turn gas control knob counterclockwise to "ON" position. Continue to turn the
gas control knob counterclockwise to your desired setting.
12. Close access panel door.
13. Turn on all electrical power to the appliance.
CAUTION
DO NOT TRY TO ADJUST HEATING LEVELS BY USING THE MANUAL SHUTOFF
VALVE.

TO TURN OFF GAS TO APPLIANCE

SHUTTING OFF UNIT
1. Open access cover door.
2. Turn gas control knob clockwise to the full "OFF" position.
3. Turn off all electric power to the appliance if service is to be performed
4. Close access cover door.
SHUTTING OFF BURNER ONLY (pilot stays lit)
Turn control knob clockwise to the "PILOT" position.
CAUTION:
Hot while in operation. Do Not Touch. Keep children, clothing, furniture,
gasoline, and other liquids having flammable vapors away.
CAUTION:
DO NOT TRY TO ADJUST HEATING LEVELS BY USING THE
MANUAL SHUTOFF VALVE.
WARNING:
Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service or maintenance can

provided with this appliance. Installation and service must be performed by a qualified
installer, service agency, or the gas supplier.
IMPORTANT:
Always operate the appliance at the completely "ON" or the completely
"OFF" positions. Never use the heater at a setting between these positions as this can result in
improper combustion and excessive carbon monoxide emissions.
