What if there are problems?

If the scale detects and error when measuring, the following is displayed.
Display
Cause
0_Ld
The maximum load capacity of 150 kg was
exceeded.
Lo
The batteries are almost empty.
Err
The electrical resistance between the elec-
trodes and the sole of your foot is too high
(e.g. if you have tough calluses).
The fat percentage is outside the meas-
urable range (less than 5% or greater
than 50%).
The water percentage is outside the
measurable range (less than 36% or
greater than 70%).
The muscle and bone percentages are
outside the measurable range (age and
gender related).
No display
The batteries in the control unit are
completely empty.
The batteries in the control unit are not
inserted correctly.
No measurement possible
Possible errors
The scale was not activated before you stood on it.
If you step on the scale before "0.0 KG" is dis-
played, the scale will not work correctly.
Cordless connection between scale and control
unit is interrupted.
The control unit is too far away from the scale.
The batteries in the scale are empty.
Incorrect weight measurement
Possible errors
Scale is on carpeting.
Incorrect zero point of scale.

Remedy
Do not load the unit with over 150 kg.
Replace the batteries (see page 21 and
29).
Repeat the measurement barefoot. If
necessary, moisten the soles of your
feet slightly. If necessary, remove the
calluses from the soles of your feet.

Remedy
Activate the scale correctly (wait for "0.0
KG") and repeat the measurement.

measurement. If necessary, wait 30 sec-
onds, then repeat the measurement.
Briefly remove, then reinsert the batteries of
the scale and the control unit; the scale
sends an audible signal when you insert the
batteries.
Keep away from following electromagnetic
sources: Power lines, television or computer
sets, bike computers, mobile phones,
weather stations.
Reduce the distance between the scale and
control unit; maximum distance is 2 metres.
Replace the batteries (see page 21).
Remedy
Place the scale on a level and solid surface.
Activate the scale until a signal sounds, wait
approximately 4 seconds, repeat measure-
ment.
