Replacing the handset battery

Set the POWER switch of the handset to OFF.
Slide the lid off the battery compartment.
Unplug the battery cord, and remove the old battery.
Plug in the cord of the new battery and place it in the
compartment.
Replace the lid by sliding it up over the pack until it
is firmly in place.
Set the POWER switch back to ON.

Charge the new battery for 10 hours before use.
