5-3-7. Revitalizing the battery (trickle charging)
This is a function to charge a battery further after completion of charging as shown in Fig. 14 (repeats the
following cycle 10 times: 1-hour pause and 15-minute charging at 1.3 A). A new battery or a battery that has not
been used for extensive periods (6 months as a guide) may not be charged completely due to inert internal
chemicals. Leave the battery inserted in the charger for 8 to 12 hours after completion of charging. The charger
automatically "revitalizes" the battery by trickle recharging.
