MENU – displays DVD disc menu.

Power – switches player on or into
standby.

AUDIO – switches audio language/chan-
nels.

DISPLAY – shows on-screen disc informa-

MULTI DIAL – controls picture scanning
speed/frame advance.

V.ADJ (VIDEO ADJUST) – press to adjust
picture quality settings such as sharpness,
colour balance, etc.

F.MEM (FUNCTION MEMORY) – displays
the function memory menu.
3 (PLAY) – starts/resumes playback.

7 (STOP) – stops playback/scanning, etc.

4 ¢ (PREVIOUS/NEXT) – skips to the

previous/next title/chapter/track. Also used
to navigate Video CD menus.

(RETURN) – returns to the previously
displayed menu screen. Also displays

e E (STEP/SLOW) – controls slow-

motion/frame advance.

Number buttons – use to select titles/
tracks/chapters/time when searching,
programming, etc.

RANDOM – sets the random playback
mode.

LAST MEMORY – memorizes the current
location in the DVD-video or Video CD
discs loaded; starts playback from a point
previously memorized.
0 (OPEN/CLOSE) – opens/closes the disc

SUBTITLE – switches the subtitle display
on multi-lingual DVD discs.

ANGLE – switches camera angle on DVDs
that have multi-angle scenes.

Joystick / ENTER button – move the
joystick up/down/left/right to navigate on-
screen menus and displays; press to select

the front panel fluorescent display.

Jog indicator – lights when multi dial is in
jog mode.

JOG (JOG MODE) – puts multi dial into jog
