Receiving a fax

Receive modes

By factory default, the factory setting of Receive Mode is "Fax". Your machine will automatically
receive any faxes that are sent to it. There are four receive modes of this machine as below.
For more detailed information on the receive modes, see Using receive modes on page 29.
Operation Display
Fax Only
Fax/Tel
Manual
External TAD
To set a receive mode follow the instructions below:

Press Menu.
b
Press a or b to choose Initial Setup.
Press OK.
c
Press a or b to choose Receive Mode.
d
Press d or c to choose Fax Only, Fax/Tel, Manual or External TAD.
Press OK.
e
Press Stop/Exit.
The LCD will display the current receive mode.
