Using Alternate Connections

Alternate connections

You may need to use an alternate connection:
• If your TV does not have any audio output connections or does not deliver
the audio to the CineMate
box audio output to the system" or "Connecting a TV headphones output to the
system" on page 17.
• If you do not get sound from a DVD player that is connected to your TV.
See "Connecting two devices to the system" on page 18.
Connecting the system to a cable/satellite box audio output

You can connect a cable/satellite box to the CineMate
Use only one audio cable.
Caution: If using an optical cable, see page 13 for important instructions.

On the back of your cable/satellite box, locate the Audio Out connector panel.
Make only one connection
Remove cap
Audio OUT
Cable/satellite
box
Audio IN CineMate

Choose the audio cable.
3.
Connect the audio cable from your cable/satellite box's Audio Out connector
panel to the soundbar.
