7. Falk Navi-Manager

The Falk Navi-Manager gives you the option of ensuring that the data on your Falk PND is right up to
date at all times and allows you to manage your data easily and conveniently.

Installing the Falk Navi-Manager

1. Insert the Navi-Manager CD into your CD drive. The installation assistant of the Falk Navi-Manager starts up auto-
matically. Simply follow the instructions given in the installation program.
Note: An important requirement for the Falk Navi-Manager to work is that the Microsoft
Adobe Acrobat Reader software are both installed. These programs can also be installed via the installation assistant.
2. Connect your navigation device to your PC via the USB cable.
3. You will then be asked by the program ActiveSync
then click on Next.
4. To start the Falk Navi-Manager, click on the Windows Start menu: Start/Programs/Falk/Navi-Manager or instead on
the Navi-Manager symbol which was placed on your desktop with the installation. The Falk Navi-Manager mask
then opens up.
5. To transfer content such as Maps, Speakers, etc., insert the "Content" CD/DVD enclosed with your product into the
drive of your PC.
6. The Falk Navi-Manager performs an automatic update search each time you start it. This checks whether there is any
new content, new speed camera data or new Premium GPS files (optional) available to download. If this is the case,
you can select the updates you want and thus decide whether the data should be downloaded from the Internet.
Note: the requirement for the automatic update search to work is a PC with Windows XP/ Vista™ and an Internet
connection.
The menu bar Options/Settings allows you to define whether the data found in the automatic update search should be
transferred to your device every time the program starts up.

form of tabs.

shown an overview of all the data in this category in
the form of a list.
