7.1

Connecting to a telephone

The NAVIGON 81xx must be connected to a mobile phone in order for
you to use the telephone functions.
If the NAVIGON 81xx was last connected to the same mobile phone,
the connection will be established without further prompting.
Problems occurring when trying to establish a Bluetooth connection can
have various causes:
Bluetooth is dectivated in the hands-free module of the
NAVIGON 81xx.
Activate Bluetooth. Make sure that the NAVIGON 81xx can be
detected by other Bluetooth devices. (Refer to "Bluetooth Function"
on page 56)
Bluetooth is deactivated on the mobile phone or it is set to "Hidden".
Activate Bluetooth on your mobile phone. Make sure that your
mobile phone can be detected by other Bluetooth devices
For more details refer to your mobile phone manual.
It may be that the NAVIGON 81xx was never connected to your
mobile phone before.
Initiate the connection manually. (Refer to "Connection with Mobile
Phone" page 57)
If the NAVIGON 81xx is still unable to establish a Bluetooth connection
to your mobile phone, contact your mobile phone manufacturer's
customer support.

Taking a call

When you receive a call, the I
be asked whether you want to take the call. The name and the number
of the caller will be displayed if this information is available.
Tap on Yes if you want to take the call.

Tap on No if you do not want to take the call.
Note: Play-back of the MP3 player and the navigation instructions are
muted during a call.
