Pairing with a mobile phone

Pairing describes the procedure involved when connecting two Bluetooth devices for
the first time. It is necessary to enter a password into both devices in the process. This
password is stored on both devices, so that further entry is not necessary by subse-
quent connections.
Pairing must be initiated from the mobile phone.
See your mobile phone user's manual if you are uncertain about how to carry out the fol-
lowing steps on the mobile phone.
1. Ensure that Bluetooth is activated on the mobile phone.
