RESTRICTOR
Each installation is unique and affected by various factors including venting configuration, altitude and climate. Therefore, after fireplace
installation is complete a restrictor may be required or may need to be removed or modified.
Page 27 has information on restrictor recommendations depending on burner flame appearance and instructions on installation after venting
is completed.
RESTRICTOR REQUIREMENTS
Small restrictor: Straight vertical vent runs between 10' - 15' (3.048 m - 4.572 m).
Large restrictor: Straight vertical vent runs between 15' - 40' (4.572 m - 12.19 m).

ELBOWS
For each additional 90° elbow used after first elbow, 3 ft. (914 mm) must be subtracted from maximum allowed venting. For each 45° elbow
used, 1-1/2 ft. (457 mm) must be subtracted from maximum venting allowed.
NOTE: (2) 45° elbows may be used in place of (1) 90° elbow.
VENTING
Bend tabs to approx. 80 degree
angles to create tension to hold
itself in place when installed.
