Requirement
When the presser foot is resting on the needle plate there must be a clearance of about
1.3 mm between lifting lever 3 and lifting piece 4.

Set needle bar at b.d.c. and lower presser foot onto needle plate.
Turn crank 1 (screws 2) according to Requirement.
Make sure that the vertical knee lever shaft has no vertical play.
