Handling CD-ROM Discs
Hold all CD's by the outside edge, or through the center of the disc. Touching the
side opposite the label can cause smears, smudges, or scratches that can cause
the disc to be unreadable. Whenever not in use, the disc should be placed into
a plastic 'jewel case' or similar type of protective sleeve.
If you find the CD-ROM drive is having trouble reading a particular disc, you may
want to try cleaning it. Use a clean slightly damp cloth and gently wipe the disc
from the center hub of the disc to the outside edge.
Inserting a Disc
The drive's disc tray opens with a press of the 'eject button' on the face
of the drive.
