1. Prepare a pole, a plastic mount bracket and a U-bolt
without flat washers, lock washers and hex nuts
(figure 1).
2. Position the pole inside the U-bolt and securely
tighten the mount bracket on the pole with the U-bolt
by the four pairs of the flat washers, lock washers
and hex nuts (figure 2). Use wrench if necessary.
NOTE Make sure the engraved arrow UP on the mount
bracket is positioned correctly.
3. Insert the extended tabs of the mount bracket into
the slots on the back of the transmitter box. Push
the transmitter box down until it is securely in place
(figure 3 & 4).
NOTE Locate the transmitter box in direct sunlight for
optimal power supply to the solar panel (see Sensor
Installation section).
Option 2: Install the transmitter box on a
wooden board

1. Prepare a wooden board, a plastic mount bracket
and four pairs of Type A screws without flat
washers and lock washers (see above figure 1).
2. Position the mount bracket on the wooden board by
securely tightening the Type A screws using some
tools (see above figure 2).
NOTE Make sure the engraved arrow UP on the mount
bracket is positioned correctly.
3. Insert the extended tabs of the mount bracket into
the slots on the back of the transmitter box. Push
the transmitter box down until it is securely in place
(see above figure 3 & 4).
NOTE Locate the transmitter box in direct sunlight for
optimal power supply to the solar panel (see Sensor
Installation section).
SET UP THERMO & HYGRO SENSOR
The thermo & hygro sensor takes outdoor temperature
and humidity readings. Before positioning the sensor,
install the sensor onto a metal mount bracket.
