The outdoor unit is loaded with sufficient refrigerant for the standard
piping. Thus, refrigerant must be added if the piping is lengthened.
This operation can only be performed by a qualified refrigeration
specialist. For quantity of adding refrigerant, refer to page 21.
1 Check that the stop valve is closed entirely.
2 Charge the refrigerant through the service port of liquid stop valve.

3 If you cannot charge the refrigerant according to the upper steps,
following these:
3-1 Open both liquid stop valve and gas stop valve.
3-2 Operate the air conditioner by pressing the key 2 on the outdoor
unit PCB.
3-3 About 30 minutes later, charge the refrigerant through the service
port of gas stop valve.
