D.I. Resin Canister - How to change the D.I. Resin Beads
In order to change the D.I. Resin of your 6oz D.I. Resin Canister, you will need to have on hand the re-
placement D.I. Resin beads. If you do not have the needed replacement D.I. Resin Beads, you can easily
and securely order a 24 oz bag from our store.

This concludes the instruction for changing the D.I Resin canister of your Aquasafe Reverse Osmosis
System.

Depressurize your system (see Fig. 25)
Remove (see Fig 10) the blue tubing from
both ends of the D.I. Resin Canister.

When the new D.I. Resin has entirely lled the DI Canister, inspect the threads of the DI canister and remove any
resin beads which have found their way into the threads of the canister. Also rinse out the blue end cap with
water.
Tighten the blue end cap back into its place with reasonable force. You can now position the D.I. Resin Canister
back into its normal place on the Reverse Osmosis System by pushing the canister down onto its canister clips.
Reinsert the blue tubing into the elbows on both sides of the D.I. Resin Canister. Turn on the Manual Shut-O
Valve and Tank Top Valve to repressurize your system.

Now pull the D.I. Canister out of its canister clips

Remove one of
the blue end
caps by turning
the blue end
cap counter
clockwise.
Final Polishing Filter
Dispose of the old D.I. Resin

Beads and re ll the now
empty D.I. Resin canister with
the new D.I. Resin Beads.
NOTE: It is important to
pack the resin into the
canister tightly. To ensure
this, hold the canister
vertically (straight up and
down) and ll half way and
then tap the canister lightly
on a surface which will act
to compact the resin into
place. Fill to the top then
tap again. Top up any air
space left with resin.
