    PLEASE KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE This publication is intended as a guide for installers to help with the assembly of the log set only. Please refer to the Westgate DV48 Owner’s Manual for specific, detailed and complete information on installation and operation.
  • Page 2 nStaLLatIon Logs have been numbered 1 through 10 (below) to assist in the log set assembly.
  • Page 3 Groove 1. Install Log #1 (Right Rear). Place the pin on the left side of log #1 onto the groove on top of the ember burner. Groove Log #1 in position Position the groove on the right side of Log #1 onto the tab on the right side of the grate.
  • Page 4 Flat Surfaces The flat surface on the right side of Log #2 sits on the Log #2 in position flat surface in the center of Log #1. Groove 3. Install Log #3. Log #3 sits inside the groove on Log #3 in position the burner.
  • Page 5 Flat Surface Grate 5. Install Log #5. The left side of Log #5 sits on the The right side of Log #5 sits on the grate. flat surface of Log #3. Notch Grate Log #5 in position 6. Install Log #6. The notch on the left side of Log #6 hooks into the front of the fire grate.
  • Page 6 Grate Notch 7. Install Log #7. The angled notch on the bottom of Log #7 fits into the left corner of the grate. Groove Log #7 in position The top of Log #7 fits into the groove on Log #2. Notch Grate 2.
  • Page 7 Groove The pin at the top of Log #8 fits into the groove of Log #1. Log #8 in position 9. Install Log #9. Log #9 sits on Log #5 10. Install Log #10. Log #10 sits on the front center section of the grate with the bottom of the log sitting on the front burner accent.
