• The microphone will automatically switch from battery mode to phantom
power mode and deactivate the BATT CHECK LED.
Therefore, you do not need to remove the battery. The BATT CHECK LED will
remain dark.
1. Unscrew the wire-mesh cap.
2. Slip the attachment (1) on the microphone capsule (2) to the stop, slightly turn-
ing the attachment (1) as you push it home.
• When installing or removing the PPC 1000 or PB 1000 attachment,
make sure to grip the capsule (2) and rubber shock mount (3) firmly
with your thumb and forefinger to prevent the capsule being severed
from the shock mount.
We recommend the C 1000 S for the following applications on stage and in the
studio:
