Dip
the engine coolant temperature sensor
in
hot
water
and,
using a stove, etc., raise the engine coolant temperature.
(2)
Check that
the engine coolant temperature sensor is
con-
ductive when the engine coolant temperature reaches the
specif ied temperatu re.
Standard value: 26.5

The condition can be considered normal
if the
resistances are
measured
within the
ranges
of
3.98
-
4.12 kilohms
and 2.21
-
2.35 kilohms, respectively, when the air inlet sensor is sub'
merged
in
warm water of 25"C l77"Fl and 40'C (104'F) for one
minute or longer
each.
NOTE
The relationship between the ambient temperature and
the
re-
sistance values is as shown below.
