Caution

((the illstalled mounting sleeve is loose in the main unit, the pressure
plates may be widelled slightly to remedy the problem.
Remove mounting sleeve from the main unit (see
"Removal" on page 41).
Caution
When you illstall this unit in your boat, do 1I0t remove the
detachable frOllt pallel.
lfthe detachablefrollt pallel is removed durillg installatioll, you
might press too hard and warp the metal plate that holds it in
place.
• Stick the supplied cover sheet on the su/face of the unit.

This unit
Reinforce the head unit with the metal mounting
strap (not supplied). Secure the ground to a wire
attached directly to the boat's negative battery
terminal.
• For the screw marked"
*' ",
use an appropriate screw for the chosen
mounting location.
Connect each input lead coming from an amplifier or
equalizer to the corresponding output lead coming
from the left rear of the iDA-X100M. Connect all other
leads of the iDA-X100M according to details
described in the CONNECTIONS section.
Removal
1. Remove the detachable front panel.
2. Insert the bracket keys into the unit, along the guides
on either side. The unit can now be removed from the
mounting sleeve.
• The main unit must be moullIed within 35 degrees of the
hori~olltal
plalle, back to frollt.

Slide the iDA-X100M into the instrument panel until
it clicks. This ensures that the unit is properly
locked and will not accidentally come out from the
instrument panel. Install the detachable front panel.
