7.11 Condensate drain on the
outdoor unit
ATTENTION!
Condensed water that forms during operation must be drained off in a
frost-free manner.
NOTE
In warmer regions, the installation of a condensate tray heater is
recommended. In colder regions that experience long periods of frost, the
installation of condensate tray heating is absolutely essential.
7.12 Testing the expansion vessel
admission pressure
A 10 l expansion vessel is installed and an initial pressure of
1 bar set in the indoor unit.
The total volume of water in the system should not exceed
200 l. (Note: This amount of water is not included in the tank
volume of the device).
If the total volume of water exceeds 200 l, add another
expansion vessel.

7.13 Correct evacuation procedure

ATTENTION!
Adhere strictly to the steps described below in order to perform the
evacuation procedure correctly.
1)
Press the "PUMPDW" switch on the control panel to activate
PUMP DOWN mode. Run the system in PUMP DOWN
mode for 10 to 15 minutes.
2)
After 10 to 15 minutes (or after 1 or 2 minutes if the ambient
temperature is very low [< 10°C]), close the 2-way valve
fully.
3)
Close the 3-way valve fully after 3 minutes.
4)
Press the "OFF/ON" switch on the control panel to
deactivate PUMP DOWN mode.
5)
Disconnect the refrigerant pipe.
ATTENTION!
Stop the compressor before disconnecting the refrigerant pipes during
evacuation. If the refrigerant pipes are disconnected during compressor
operation and the valves are open, air will be drawn in. This increases the
pressure in the refrigerant circuit, which causes a risk of injury.

Is the pressure relief valve operating normally?
Is the residual current circuit breaker working normally?
Does the line voltage match the nominal voltage?
Are there any unusual noises?
Is heating operation working normally?
