Insert a screwdriver or similar thin tool into the keyboard release opening, and then press on the back of the keyboard until the keyboard disengages from the computer (1).

    Programming steps This is the process for the HP Common Core BIOS. WARNING! Completing the DMI programming process allows you to lock the system at the conclusion preventing further programming. A system-specific MPM unlock key is required to reprogram the system after it has been locked.
  • Page 80 Use the date and time commands to set the system clock. There is help at the command line for exact syntax. Start the HP Setup Utility, and then select Main > Set Machine Unique Data. Select each of the DMI fields and enter the appropriate information.
