materials in the vicinity of this or any other
appliance.
- WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switch;
do not use any phone in your building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a
neighbor's phone. Follow the gas supplier's
instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier,
call the fire department.
- DO NOT RELY ON SMELL ALONE TO DETECT
LEAKS. DUE TO VARIOUS FACTORS, YOU MAY
NOT BE ABLE TO SMELL FUEL GASES.
• U.L. recognized fuel gas and CO detectors are
recommended in all applications, and their
installation should be in accordance with the
manufacturer's recommendations and/or local
laws, rules, regulations, or customs.
- Installation and service must be performed by a
qualified installer, service agency or the gas
supplier.
Safety signal words are used to designate a degree
or level of seriousness associated with a particular
hazard.
The signal words for safety markings are
WARNING and CAUTION.

tion which, if not avoided, could result in death or
serious injury.
b. CAuTION indicates a potentially hazardous situa-
