  • How do I program my One for All URC-7110 remote control?

    You can program your remote control using two methods: Direct Code Set Up or Search Method.

    Direct Code Set Up:

    1. Find the code for your device in the Code list (pages 50-57). Codes are listed by device type and brand name, with the most popular code listed first. Ensure your device is switched on (not on standby).
    2. Press and hold magic for 3 seconds until the blue LED stays on.
    3. Enter the 1st code listed for your device type and brand (e.g., TV Hitachi = 1576). The blue LED will blink twice and then switch off.
    4. Press POWER.
    5. If your device does NOT switch off, repeat steps 1-3 trying the next code listed for your brand. If still not successful, try the Search Method.

    Search Method:

    1. Switch on your television (not on standby) and aim your One For All remote at your TV.
    2. Press and hold MAGIC for 3 seconds until the blue LED stays on.
    3. Select the corresponding device (e.g., TV).
    4. Press 9 9 1. The blue LED will blink twice.
    5. Next, press POWER.
    6. Press CH+ (over and over) again until your device switches OFF. This may require pressing the key many times (up to 150 times).
    7. As soon as your television turns off, press the magic key to store the code.

    After either method, you should be able to switch your device back ON and control it successfully.

    If, during the Direct Code Set Up, your device does NOT switch off after entering a code and pressing POWER, you should repeat steps 1-3 trying the next code listed for your brand.   • What do the blinking lights or indicators on the One for All URC-7110 remote signify?

    The blue LED on the remote indicates various states during programming and operation:

    • When pressing and holding magic for 3 seconds, the blue LED stays on to indicate it's ready for code input or programming.
    • During Direct Code Set Up or Search Method, after entering a code or pressing 991, the blue LED will blink twice and then switch off, indicating successful input or completion of a step.

    • When determining the Set Up Code (What is my "Set Up Code" again?), the blue LED blinks to represent the digits of the code (number of blinks corresponds to the digit, zero blinks for '0').
    • If the LED becomes dim, it signifies that the batteries need to be replaced.
