Lower the card holder,
pressing it gently down at
the same time, and slide
the grip to the left until you
feel it resist and lock into
place.
Then insert the battery once again into its original posi-
tion. If necessary, press the connection leads on the
battery back into their guide slots. Finally, close the
cover of the battery compartment.

4.8 Antenna

Your mobile phone has a built-in antenna. This is lo-
cated internally across the base of the device. The ad-
vantage of this position is that antenna radiation is re-
duced in the immediate area of the head, thus also
minimising interference with hearing aids, for example.
To avoid any negative effect to the reception and
transmission qualities of the antenna, you should not
cover or shield the lower part of the phone with metal-
lic objects (e.g. metal stands, gloves coated with
metal, or by setting it down upright on a metal plate).
