Terms of warranty:

Notwithstanding the right to claim for defects against the seller,
the user (i.e. the customer) is granted a warranty according to
the following conditions:
• New devices and their components which have proved to be
defective within 24 months of the date of purchase due to de-
fective workmanship and/or materials will be replaced or re-
paired at the discretion of the manufacturer free of charge to
provide a device of the same technological standard. For
parts subject to wear and tear (e.g. battery, keypad, housing,
case – insofar as these are included in the scope of delivery),
the warranty is valid for six months from the date of pur-
chase.
• This warranty is not valid insofar as any defect on the device
is the result of improper handling and/or failure to give due
attention to the phone manual.
• This warranty does not extend to work undertaken by con-
tract dealers or by customers themselves (e.g. installation,
configuration, change of software). Manuals and any soft-
ware supplied with the device by means of a separate data
carrier are likewise exempt from the warranty. This also ap-
plies to SIM cards sent off with return goods. No liability is
accepted for the whereabouts or use of unsolicited SIM cards
which are sent off with return goods.
• The sales receipt with date of purchase is accepted as proof
of warranty. Warranty claims are to be made within two
months of a warranty case having been noted.
• Devices and/or components which are returned to the manu-
facturer as part of an exchange and are replaced become the
property of the manufacturer.
• This warranty is valid for new devices purchased in the
European Union. The guarantor is the manufacturer:
