• Any further or other claims on this manufacturer's warranty
are exempt. The manufacturer accepts no liability for disrup-
tions to service, loss of profit or loss of data, additional soft-
ware or other information of any kind downloaded by the cus-
tomer. The customer is responsible for safety in these cases.
Exemption from liability does not apply where liability is man-
datory, e.g. in accordance with product liability legislation, in
cases of intent, gross negligence, due to loss of life, bodily
injury or damage to health or due to the breaching of sub-
stantive contractual obligations. Claims to recover damages
arising from a breach of substantive contractual obligations
shall however be limited to foreseeable damage which is in-
trinsic to this type of contract insofar as there is no intent or
gross negligence, or due to loss of life, bodily injury or dam-
age to health, or due to a breach of substantive contractual
obligations.
• The warranty period is not extended when the warranty is
invoked.
• Where a warranty claim proves to be invalid, the manufac-
turer reserves the right to invoice the cost of replacement or
repair to the customer. The manufacturer will advise the cus-
tomer accordingly in advance.
• The above provisions do not imply a change in the burden of
proof to the detriment of the customer.
