Removing the System Fan

1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove:
a) stand
b) back cover
c) System-board shield
d) VESA bracket
3. Disconnect the system-fan cable from the system board. Remove the screws that secure the system
fan and remove it from the computer.

Installing the System Fan

1. Align the system fan with the heatsink on the computer and tighten the screws to secure it to the
computer.
2. Connect the system-fan cable to the system board.
3. Install:
a) VESA bracket
b) system-board shield
c) back cover
d) stand
4. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.

Removing the Power-Switch Board

1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove:
a) stand
b) back cover
