Battery Installation

This telephone requires four AA batteries (not included) in order for the
Caller ID with Call Waiting, Memory, and New Call light to work. For best
results use alkaline or heavy duty batteries
1 Press on the tab to remove the battery compartment cover.

NOTE: Once the batteries are installed, the screen will show 12:00 and
the clock will begin to run. The clock will be reset to the correct time
when the first Caller ID data is received.

compartment cover
by aligning the
bottom tabs on the
cover with the slots
on the base and
snapping into place.
