Enter the disc name (page 35).
You can enter up to 64 characters for a
DVD-RW/DVD-R (VR mode) disc
name, and 40 characters for a
DVD+RW/DVD-RW (Video mode)/
DVD+R/DVD-R (Video mode) disc
name.

You can also display the Disc Setup display by
selecting "Disc Setup" from the System Menu.

The disc name may not appear when the disc is
played on other DVD equipment.

Protecting a disc

Insert a disc.

Press DISC SETUP.

Select "Basic," and press ENTER.

Select "Protect Disc," and press
ENTER.

Select "On," and press ENTER.

Press DISC SETUP to exit.
To cancel the protection
Select "Off" in step 5.
