Instructions for Gameplay Recording using the
Sony RDR-HX730 DVD Recorder.
1. Turn video game console on.
2. Turn DVD Recorder (Sony RDR-HX730) on.
3. Make sure that correct date/time is set on the DVD Recorder.
To Start Recordings:
4. Press INPUT SELECT to select the proper input source (for example, L1 for Xbox,
L3 for PS2)
To Set the Date/Time:
3.1 To set the date/time, press SYSTEM MENU
while the recorder is in stop mode.
3.2 Select 'Setup', and press ENTER
3.3 Select 'Basic', and press ENTER
3.4 Select 'Clock' and press ENTER
3.5 Select 'Manual' and press ENTER
3.6 Use the Right and Left directional keys to
move between day, year, hour, and minutes
and use the Up and Down directional keys to
set the numbers.
3.7 Press ENTER to start the clock.
5. Press HDD (to record to the hard drive of
the DVD recorder) on the remote or on the
top of the DVD recorder.
6. Press REC MODE repeatedly to select the
recording mode. (Use SP or Standard Mode).
7. Insert Game Disc into the video game
console.
8. When ready to record gameplay footage,
press REC on the DVD recorder.
9. When finished a mission or level, press
REC STOP.
