The removab)e air fitter prevents dust from accumuiating on the surface of the projection tens and projection mirror.
Shoufd the air fitter become cfogged with dust partictes, it wiii reduce the cooiing fan's effectiveness and may resuit T'
interna) heat buitt up and reduced the iife of the projection iamp.
To ciean the air fitter, fottow the cteaning procedures betow:
1. Turn the POWER (LAMP) ON/OFF button OFF.
2. Remove the air fitter cover from the side of the projector.

3. Remove the air fitter and sponge from the fitter cover.
4. C!ean the air fitter and sponge with a vacuum cteaner.
5. Reptace the air fitter and sponge. Make sure that air fitter cover
isfutty inserted.
Do not ctean with water. Doing so may damage the air fitter.
Do not operate the projector with air fitter removed.

LAMP REPLACEMENT !ND!CATOR
When the tamp nears the end of its service tife, the picture quality and colour quality witt deteriorate and the tamp
replacement indicator wi)f tight orange.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE OR CHANGE THE PROJECTiON LAMP. THE LAMP CAN
ONLY BE CHANGED BY QUAUFtED SERVtCE PERSONNEL.
TEMPERATURE WARNING !ND!CATOR
The TEMPERATURE WARNING tND!CATOR tights red when the internal temperature of the projector exceeds the
normal temperature.
Possib!e causes for the temperature warning may be:
1. Ventilation s!ots at the rear or bottom of the projector are blocked. !n such an event, reposition the projector so that
venti!ation slots are not obstructed.
2. Air fiher is clogged with dust partictes. Remove dust from the air fitter by following instructions in the Air Fitter Care and
Cleaning section above.
If temperature warning indicator remains on after performing the checks listed above, cooting fan/internat circuits may
be maifunctioning. Request service from an authorized distributor or service station.
