Q. Can finished poster images be printed on printers of other manufacturers (including as test
prints)?
These posters can only be printed on the W6400, W8400, and imagePROGRAF series printers
(imagePROGRAF Printer Driver version 3.5 or later). Regarding test prints, however, they can be
printed on all Canon printers up to A4 size.
That is useful in checking the poster layout or text.

Q. What is Digital Photo Front-Access?
Digital Photo Front-Access is a newly developed software to promote the efficiency of a workflow
that ranges from the input of an image taken with a digital camera to the output of a print using
a large format printer. It develops RAW* images and performs browsing, selection, auto image
retouching, and printing of RAW and JPEG format images. Further, it enables users to select an
image to print in large format, and to easily transfer the image data to other application software
such as PosterArtist 2007 and Adobe Photoshop.
This feature greatly improves work efficiency since users can perform each operation in the
workflow process on just one software program.
*Only RAW images shot by Canon EOS digital series.
Q. What file formats can be viewed?
JPEG, RAW, and TIFF. (TIFF format will be supported in Version 1.1.)
Q. Can images from cameras of other manufacturers also be used?
Because JPEG is supported as a source image format, images from any digital camera can be
viewed as long as they are in JPEG format. As for RAW images, only Canon RAW from EOS digital
series is currently supported. RAW images from digital cameras of other manufacturers and those
from Canon PowerShot must be converted to JPEGs using image processing software before they
can be viewed.
