Application Manager

You can download and install applications from the Google Play Store or create applications
using the Android SDK and install them on your device. Use Application manager to manage
applications on your device.
1. Touch
> Apps
2. Touch Downloaded, Running, or All to view the status of apps and services. Tap an
app or service for more information, and for app options, such as stopping and
uninstalling.
Tap & Pay
When NFC is turned on, you can use the tap & pay feature to pay for items just by touching your
phone to a reader at a register.
To manage your apps for the tap & pay option:
1. Touch
> Apps
2. Touch an app to make it your default payment app.
Note: If your device doesn't have a default app, such as Google Wallet, you can browse Google
Play for other payment apps.
Important: This feature manages payment apps like Google Wallet. The tap & pay option
doesn't apply to Android Beam and won't include certain apps, such as money transfer apps.

Location Settings

Your Location menu lets you select how your phone determines its location (using the wireless
network, GPS satellites, both, or neither).
1. Touch
> Apps
2. Touch the ON/OFF switch next to Location to turn the option On or Off.

Security Settings

The lock screen settings let you set your method for unlocking your phone, customize lock
screen options, determine whether to show pop-up tips for unlocking the phone, and enter your
owner information to be displayed on the lock screen.

Screen Lock

You can increase the security of your phone by creating a screen lock. When enabled, you have
to draw the correct unlock pattern on the screen, enter the correct PIN, or enter the correct
password to unlock the phone's control keys, buttons, and touchscreen.
