Network Key With WPA encryption methods, the WR850 can issue clients new
Rotation encryption keys for multicast and broadcast packets on periodic
Interval: basis. This field sets that periodic interval in seconds. Leave this
field blank, or set the value to zero, to disable this periodic update.

unless WPA, WPA2, WPA-PSK, or WPA2-PSK is Enabled.

• Selecting Enabled engages WEP.
• Selecting Disabled disengages WEP.
NOTE: WEP Encryption requires the entry of at least one WEP
Network Key (below).
Disabled
• 64-bit keys must be made up of either 5 case-sensitive ASCII
characters or 10 hexadecimal digits (0-9, A-F).
• 128-bit keys must be made up of either 13 case-sensitive
ASCII characters or 26 hexadecimal digits (0-9, A-F).
NOTES:
1) You can only enter WEP Network Keys if WEP Encryption
(above) is Enabled.
2) Do not enter simple patters of numbers (e.g., all zeroes) as
WEP Network Keys. These keys would not be secure.
3) WEP Network Keys need not be entered if 802.1X
Authentication (above) is Enabled, since the RADIUS server
will dynamically generate keys.
4) If WEP Encryption and WPA Encryption (above) are
concurrently Enabled, Network Key slots 1 and 4 are reserved
for WPA functions and you will only be able to enter WEP
Network Keys into slots 2 and 3.

concurrently Enabled, Network Key slots 1 and 4 are reserved for
WPA functions and the Current WEP Network Key Index will
only be able to select between 2 and 3.
